Founder
Pramesh Agarwal
Founder of Sunil Forging and Steel Industries, with 45 years of experience in the steel forging industry. An engineering graduate of the Manipal Institute of Technology, he entered the steel industry in 1981 and worked with Tata Steel, holding the exclusive dealership for long products across Western India. He went on to set up SFSI's steel forging manufacturing facility and has since expanded the company into one of India's top open-die forging companies.

SFSI has forged valve bodies as a single piece up to 35 MT — a scale of open-die work only a small number of Indian manufacturers are equipped for. Every forging is produced, heat-treated and machined in-house at our Taloja plants, with quality testing carried out on-site and at NABL-approved external labs (see Quality).
